Also known as Golden Yellow Ointment, this formulation has many cold herbs that help clear heat, resolve toxicity and dissipate swelling. This is my go to for things like bug bites but can also be used after our Herbal Ice as a second phase salve once the majority of heat has been cleared to continue gentle cooling and moving fluids. In my clinic, I often combine it with 4 Resin Salve for lingering edema or swelling post injury and find that combo very effective!

The oil was infused with the herbs for 6 weeks then strained and mixed with organic beeswax.  It's a gorgeous yellow color and as an ointment it is slightly 'gooier' than the salves; it's a slightly softer creature. You'll receive a 2oz tin, larger sizes can be made upon request.

Please use only on un-broken skin and if any skin irritation occurs discontinue use immediately.

*Be warned:  this salve will stain clothing + bedding + generally anything else it comes into contact with!

Ingredients:  organic unrefined non-GMO sesame oil, organic beeswax, da huang (rhubarb root), huang bai (phellodendron bark), tian hua fen (trichosanthes root), jiang huang (turmeric), zhi tian nan xing (prepared jack in the pulpit rhizome), bai zhi (angelica root), chen pi (aged tangerine peel), cang zhu (atractylodes rhizome), huo po (magnolia bark), gan cao (licorice root), chi shao (red peony root), huang lian (coptis rhizome).
