This is a really moisturizing and repairing lip balm to help repair dry, chapped lips.  Dryness is a huge component in many places during the wintertime.  With the heat on and dry air blowing around our skin, lips and hair can loose their natural moisture before we know it!  I've been needing to remind myself to drink extra water during these coldest of cold days and while I try to catch up with re-moisturizing myself from the inside out, this lip balm has been wonderful at protecting my lips and alleviating the discomfort of dry, chapped lips!

Peony + Peppermint Lip Love is chocked full of super power moisturizers like avocado oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter.  White peony root and prepared rehmannia root help nourish and re-moisturize the lips while dang gui gently moves blood to help heal the tissues and bring new nourishment to the area, peppermint helps cool any heat or redness and licorice root helps moisturize and calm irritation.

Peppermint essential oil was added right before pouring and creates a super lovely cooling sensation when the lip balm is applied!  The aroma is reminiscent of mint chocolate with the combination of cocoa butter and peppermint, and really a delightful treat!!!

If you are a fan of our Nourishing Lip Balm (which will be making a reappearance, I promise!!) I think you'll love this new formulation too!!

Ingredients always organic or wildcrafted:  coconut oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, avocado oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, white peony root (bai shao), prepared rehmannia root (shu di huang), dang gui rhizome (dang gui), licorice root (gan cao), peppermint (bo he) and peppermint essential oil.
